Who we are
TrekCommerce is a small editorial desk that writes about trade and travel. We cover the commercial side of moving goods and money, and the practical side of moving yourself: routes, seasons, bookings and the days that actually work. Two sections, one standard of reporting.
Every article is written for someone with a decision to make in the next week. That is why our pieces run to a few hundred words, not a few thousand, and why we prefer a number, a deadline or a named trade-off over a general principle.
How we work
We research from public sources and from the arithmetic any operator can repeat. Where a figure varies by country, season or supplier, we say so and give a range rather than a single confident number. Where we are unsure, we write that we are unsure.
We do not accept payment for coverage, and we do not publish sponsored articles. Advertising on this site is served by third-party networks and is kept structurally separate from editorial content.
How we are funded
Display advertising, sold and delivered by third-party networks, funds the site. Advertisements are labelled, and their placement is governed by page structure rather than by any commercial relationship with the businesses concerned.
If you spot something inaccurate, tell us. Corrections are published at the foot of the article concerned with the date they were made.
